This museums describes the history of the ancient duchy of Amalfi. The shipyard was called by the arabs “Arsena” and it’s quite rare because there’s the last shipyard that reached our days in its original conditions, from medieval days.
Quite interesting is the museum of the compass and the duchy of Amalfi, that describes the history of the Maritime Republic of Amalfi.
Museum opening hours are:
Monday to Sunday: 10.00 – 13.00 / 15.30 – 19.00
