Museo Correale di Terranova is a 18th century villa, surrounded by a beautiful garden where a lot of palms and citrus creates a magical atmosphere where beauty and art join themselves while lookin’ at the Sorrento Coast.
The museum is composed by three floors with more than 24 rooms and has a great collection of various manufacturers, artworks, porcelains, furnitures and paintings. The ground-floor is dedicated to the founders of the Villa, Alfredo and Pompeo Correale. The first floor comes with some beautiful paintings from XVI to XVIII centuries, especially from Neapolitan artists and with paintings and furnitures from the House of Bourbouns Kingdom of the Two Sicilies.
The second floor exibiths the landscapes of Posillipo School and still life paintings, while the third floor hosts a rich set of porcelains from all around the world and manufacturers mostrly collected by Alfredo and Pompeo Correale.
This amazing museum is a must-see for its rare artworks and its breathtaking landscapes.
